Editha M. Faustino is the owner and founder of the Amber Golden Plate food chain. Editha M. Faustino started a food business on December 14,1988 from a single garage of her house in Makati.

The Editha M. Faustino’s home garage was alway full with the crowd of the nearby students.Meanwhile, Editha M. Faustino’s uncle stepped into the business who changed everything.

The name of Editha M. Faustino’s uncle was Lolo Daddy. He allowed the Editha M. Faustino opened the small food restaurant on his personal property in Makati. This was the first ever branch of the Amber golden food business.

Expansion of the of Amber Restaurant

In 1992, Editha M. Faustino started expanding the menu of the amber restaurant. Initially,  the menu of the amber hotel included pancit malabon and pichi-pichi. After 1992, the menu grew to include pork bbq, spaghetti with meat sauce, Lumpiang shanghai and chicken lollipop.

After the success of the first branch of Amber restaurant, Editha M. Faustino’s uncle  Lolo Daddy purchased new property for opening the new branch.

 By 1992, Amber started home delivery on the motorcycle.This was another breakthrough for the growth of the amber restaurant.
